We bought our truck from a local dealer in Birmingham, Alabama in April of 2010. We are the 3rd registered owners of the vehicle. The vehicle had 113,750 miles on it and was reasonably well maintained. We made sure the truck was fully road worthy by adding new oil and filter, new transmission fluid, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, etc.

The truck tows our travel trailer with ease and this was the sole reason we purchased this heavy duty truck. Gas mileage averages about 15.5 MPG when not towing and about 10 MPG when towing. That's the price you pay when you have to haul around 5000 lbs every where you go.

Ours is the LS HD model which allows us better towing and cargo capacity as well as some creature comforts like AM/FM/CD, CB Radio, dual climate controls and power everything. We added a Primus IQ brake controller to control the trailer brakes.

Overall, we are very satisfied with the truck. We are hoping this vehicle will last for many more years and hundreds of thousands of miles (with regular maintenance).
